On Friday, June 5, the city of Rogaška Slatina, Slovenia, hosted a friendly match between the Ukraine U21 and USA U21 national teams.

The Yellow-Blues opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Husol reacted quickest to a rebound off a defender following Sydun’s shot and found the empty net. However, before halftime, the Americans not only equalized but also took the lead. In the 28th minute, Brennan converted a free-kick cross, while in the 43rd minute, Downs scored on the rebound after Vilivald had deflected the ball onto his own post. In the second half, the United States extended their advantage when Campbell volleyed home a cross from the left flank in the 58th minute. The score remained unchanged until the final whistle, with the Americans securing a 3:1 victory.

All of the called-up Dynamo players took part in the match. Defenders Oleksii Husiev, Vladyslav Zakharchenko and Maksym Korobov, along with midfielders Andrii Matkevych and Anton Tsarenko, came on from the bench and played the entire second half.
