— It was a good and important match to get playing time during the break in official competitions. It was also an opportunity to test what we had been working on in training.
— Was the focus today on tactical setups or was the result also important?
— The result is always important. The fight for victory is an integral part of football. But working on our ideas and getting playing time were equally valuable today.
— Dynamo played Zorya in the league just over a week ago. Did you use that match in your preparation for the friendly?
— Yes, but not too much, because Zorya also made significant changes to their lineup.
— You spent quite a lot of time at Zorya. Did you have any special emotions facing your former teammates?
— Of course. Whenever I have the opportunity to attend Zorya’s matches, I always make sure to greet everyone. It is nice to share the football pitch with the guys.
— You have already scored several goals for Dynamo U21, and today you scored for the first team. Does your confidence grow with every goal?
— Yes, of course. I always emphasize that playing time is the most important thing for me. I do everything I can and show what I am capable of. I hope I will get more playing time not only in friendly matches but also in official games.
— There is currently a three-week break for national team matches. How is it going for you?
— Unfortunately, I was ill recently and had a high temperature for a week. It took some time to return to my optimal condition, so I worked hard over the weekend. During a break like this, you have even more chances to show yourself in training and friendly matches.
