Roman Zozulya: "Nothing less than a win will do in Minsk"

Dynamo Kyiv take on BATE (Borisov) on Thursday and ahead of the game the club’s official side correspondent talked to Roman Zozulya to find out more about the team’s mood for the upcoming game and clarify the rumours concerning his transfer to FC Kryvbas (Kryvyi Rih).

- Ihor Surkis said that the upcoming match against BATE will be the most crucial in Dynamo's season …

- I totally agree with him. We all realize that nothing less than a victory will do in Minsk. It will be a very principal match, especially following the draw in Kyiv and BATE players’ statements in the newspapers. We surely want revenge and will do everything possible to ensure our progression to the next stage in this game.

- With the winter break approaching, there are more and more transfer rumours. Could you please comment on the information that you are on FC Kryvbas’s wish list...

- All these rumours are wrong. No one has talked to me about that, moreover I don’t want to go anywhere. I’ve heard that Kryvbas coach Yuriy Maksymov has the list of 15 players he would like to see in his squad and my name is in this list. But I'm not going to leave Dynamo, neither on a permanent basis nor on loan. I really want to continue my career with this club.

- Dynamo will probably have a new coach by the end of the year. Will it be another chance for you to prove your worth?

- Sure! I’ll do my best to deserve a regular place in the starting eleven.
