Ruslan Neshcheret: “I don’t like visiting optometrists although my vision is fine”

While doing the traditional medical examination, FC Dynamo Kyiv goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret told about his vacation and expectations of the training camp.

- The year starts with usual medical examination for us. I woke up early to do it quicker and have some rest before the afternoon training session.

- Was something bothering you before the examination?

- No, but I really don’t like visiting optometrists although my vision is fine (smiling).

- How was your vacation?

- Mostly I was at home. On the first week I went to Bukovel with my girlfriend after which we returned to Mukacheve.

- Did you miss work?

- I did. Later into the vacation I really wanted to return to Kyiv to see the guys and start working.

- Olexandr Shovkovskyi has joined Dynamo coaching staff. He’s probably the idol for many Ukrainian goalkeepers…

- I think his incredible experience will benefit us. I’m sure it’s interesting to work with him.

- How was the first session?

- We did some jogging, worked out at the gym. In the afternoon, we worked with the ball on the field.

- What do you expect of the training camp?

- We’ll work a lot. First couple of weeks will be tough, but when we recondition things will get easier.
