Dynamo training camp: from France to Switzerland

The White-Blues still live in the French commune Divonne-les-Bains, but from now on they have different training facility.

Now Kyivans are working at the Stade de Arber – home ground of Meyrin football club based in the town near Geneva.

The stadium is a part of large training complex that includes a lot of fields of different size and with different turf types. Switzerland national team, Argentina with Leo Messi in their lineup and Swiss top clubs have had training camps here.

Besides Meyrin academy teams are training here – about 750 players aged 4-20. When Dynamo came to the arena, one of the groups finished their session and followed our team with great interest.

Before the session, Kyivans signed stuff for boys and girls. Meanwhile Mircea Lucescu was waiting for players on the field. After scamper and intense warm-up the team had major part of work.

Players were doing different exercises aimed at possession. Divided into mini-teams, they also had tactics exercises.

Carlos de Pena and Benjamin Verbic, who used to work individually, have rejoined the team. On Monday, only Denys Popov worked separately. Goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret, who’s recovering after surgery, was training with Mykhailo Mykhailov.

On Tuesday morning, Dynamo won’t go to the training complex. They’ll have a session at the gym, but in the afternoon they’ll return to Meyrin.
