“FC Dynamo Kyiv have great army of supporters all over the world and I’m one of them. I am 43, I come from the city of Shymkent. I’ve been supporting my favourite club since early childhood.
I’ll always remember the year 1986… win against Atletico Madrid in the Cup Winners’ Cup final by three goals to nil, USSR national team play under the charge of Valeriy Lobanovskyi at the World Cup in Mexico, triumph in the Soviet Top League, Olexandr Zavarov’s title of the USSR best player of the year and Ihor Belanov’s Ballon d’Or.
The year 1997 was also noticeable… Return of our Maestro, total football demonstrated by Dynamo and super duet Rebrov – Shevchenko.
In November of 2013 I came to Kyiv for the first time ever (to watch Dynamo match against FC Hoverla Uzhhorod). Guys from FC Dynamo Kyiv internet-store presented me Ukraine national team shirt and Olexandr Shovkovskyi’s jersey. I promised them to put it on playing at the football tournament which is being held at the enterprise I work at. I’ve fulfilled the promise.
I believe in my club and hope that the losing streak will be over soon!!!
