- When you are a player you start thinking about coaching and try to pay attention to different game models. For example FC Rubin Kazan won the domestic league twice in a row even though the team was actually formed within a month. It was a very useful experience just like my practical trainings at other clubs. Thus I defined what kind of coach I want to be.
How can one compare me, newcomer, with a person (Lobanovskyi), who did so much for Dynamo? I’ve been working as head coach for less than one season so far. Our team has really started demonstrating better play, but that’s not a reason for global conclusions. I must do a lot to approach this legendary man a bit.
