- We knew we won’t face any pushovers. Our task is to get ready for matches against Manchester City FC.
Our performers have experience of successful games against English clubs, but what matters first of all is our appeal. We hope UEFA will let Dynamo play in front of supporters.
- Do you agree that except for sensational Leicester City FC Manchester City FC are the most stable team of the Premier League?
- I guess so. I know they haven’t been lower than third position this season. They have great starting lineup and substitutes. I’m sure ManchesterCity will go through tough new-year marathon worthily.
- What can you say about Manchester City style?
- They have balance in all aspects of their play. The Citizens control the ball really well. They have fast and skillful performers. Their substitutes can replace first team regulars easily.
- Who are Manchester City key performers?
- I don’t follow this team that much to know this right after drawing.
- Manchester City are going to play at least 13 official games by the match against Dynamo. Is it good or bad?
- We’ll see. Today it’s difficult to predict what their conditions will be like.
- Are you going to watch any Citizens’ matches with your own eyes?
- I’ll do that soon. I’ll follow this team in new-year matches.
- Is domestic league the top priority for English teams?
- I guess fans are really interested in domestic competitions first of all, but it’s not the case for outstanding teams. I’m sure it’s important for such clubs as ManchesterCity to succeed on European arena.
- What’s more important to you – to preserve current squad or to sign new performers?
- It’s not all in my hands. How can I influence potential transfer of Andriy Yarmolenko, for example?
I want us to go to the training camp having the squad that will be getting ready for official fixtures.
- They say your defenders are the best Dynamo have had after Ukraine became independent. Do you agree?
- I can only say I’m satisfied with the way the whole team defends. Every player knows he must both attack and defend.
