- The match was difficult. Every game against Dynamo, Shakhtar and Dnipro is like the last battle for any team. It’s difficult to cope with defense including ten players. Still after the break Metalurh demonstrated good counterattacks.
- What was more difficult to overcome – Metalurh players’ attitude of mind or weather conditions?
- We should ask players. Nowadays there are no easy opponents in the UPL. Today our performers did their best on the pitch. For example Lens has fulfilled a great amount of work! Metalurh are good team which had great motivation. That has resulted in two goals they scored.
- Didn’t yesterday’s birthday of Ihor Surkis cause psychological pressure?
- I guess Shakhtar victory and Dnipro draw were more important. We congratulated our president yesterday and I think victory is the best present for him.
- Why wasn’t your assistant Raul Riancho present at the bench?
- Raul always watches the game from grandstands in the first half. Sometimes he calls me and suggests something.
- As Olexandr Shovkovskyi left the penalty area you said “Where are you going, Sasha?” in warm blood…
- Olexandr is experienced goalkeeper. First of all it’s important that he succeeded in that episode. Of course I was nervous following that, but we even could score in the following counterattack.
