- Are Sydorchuk and Teodorczyk ready to take the field?
- Unfortunately Teo is not. He’s missed really a lot. Still considering the way he works I can say that we’ll see him on the field soon. Serhiy has been training for several days already. After today’s training session we’ll decide whether he’s ready to play.
- How should defenders oppose such strong forward as Aboubakar?
- There are a lot of tall and aggressive strikers in the Ukrainian league, like Budkivskyi, for example. Aboubakar is not only tall, but also very skillful. We’ll take that into account.
- Belhanda has stated that he considers Dynamo to be the much-fancied side in the group. Isn’t he too optimistic?
- It’s great when players have confidence. I see how Younes struggles for the starting spot. I’m glad he thinks so. Anyway it’s important to get ready for the game and do our best on the field.
- What emotions do you experience before making debut in the Champions League as coach?
- I guess we are all excited. People call me and ask for tickets. I hope there will be full house at the stadium. I remember emotions I experienced when a player… Or course there’s some anxiety, but the majority of our performers used feature in the Champions League and Europa League. Playing in Kyiv Dynamo mustn’t be afraid of anyone. I’m sure we can demonstrate worthy play.
- What can you say about conditions of Aleksandar Dragovic?
- We’ll have one more training session today. Aleks is a true professional. He’s had rest and I see that he’s ready to play.
- Will you play attacking football?
- I’ve never said Dynamo will only attack, especially opposing such team as Porto. It will be important to defend orderly.
- Several performers left Porto in summer. Has their play changed comparing with the previous season?
- It hardly has. Porto have found worthy replacement for those who left, as usually. They are always very active on the transfer market. Still nothing changes in their game structure.
