- He gives his team confidence. We must aim for victory. We’ve come not just to defend. We should demonstrate the play which is worthy for such club as FC Dynamo Kyiv.
- How important is it for you to be the best Ukrainian team in the Champions League?
- It’s very prestigious to participate in the Champions League, but it’s also important to win the Ukrainian league.
- Do you want to build the team around Yarmolenko?
- He’s a high profile performer, but we don’t build our play around him. Still every coach wants to have such player as Andriy.
- Do you have squad problems at the moment?
- Unfortunately Danilo Silva hasn’t come to London as his wife is giving birth to their baby. Everyone else is fine.
- You used to feature for Tottenham Hotspur FC and West ham United FC. Isn’t it weird for you that Chelsea FC still have problems this season?
- I think Chelsea have reputable manager, who can solve all problems. Still we’ve proved that we are able to oppose Chelsea worthily. I wish them success, but not tomorrow.
- Will your son Dmytro be present at the stadium tomorrow? When did you meet Shevchenko last time?
- I met Andriy in Kyiv after Ukraine national team previous match. As for my son, he’ll watch the game at the stadium with Shevchenko.
- Yarmolenko doesn’t score in five matches against succession. He was very emotional about his misses as Dynamo faced Metalist. Will you calm him down?
- Of course he’s upset as he wants to score in every game. Still I’m quite satisfied with the amount of work he fulfills.
