- I think our team has deserved this victory. Vorskla didn’t lose a single game before this match. They tried to play orderly and use their strength – fast switch from defense to attack. I’m glad our performers created a lot of chances and coped with home side defense.
- Have you congratulated Derlis Gonzalez on his first goal in Ukrainian League?
- Sure, I have. So have his teammates. It’s important that he scores and works for the team. He knows that only dedication can help one get the starting spot.
- You are in for two difficult games – against FC Shakhtar Donetsk and against Chelsea FC. Which one is your priority?
- Each game is important to us. We don’t have “first” and “second” squad. We define the lineup at training sessions and before each match in particular. How can one choose between the game against Shakhtar and match against Chelsea? Of course Champions League is prestigious, but the battle against Shakhtar is a derby.
