Serhiy REBROV: “It’s much more difficult to win the title as coach than as player”

- The season was difficult and I’m glad we’ve drawn the line. I’m happy for my players. We’ve proved that we are a team. I’m also happy for our fans, who came to support us.

- What are the horizons of Shovkovskyi in your team? Will he keep playing?

- I hope so. The age doesn’t matter and we have no claims to Olexandr. He’s a true professional.

- Have you already thought about enforcement?

- Enforcement is always necessary. Still first of all it’s important to preserve this squad considering the situation in our country. Anyway we need 1-2 new performers.

- What does your dream-team look like?
-
I never dream and live for the day. Today I’m satisfied. I told players in the locker-room: “We’ve won the league, but I hope your motivation won’t disappear”. Next season we’ll feature in the Champions League group stage and we must demonstrate what our true worth is.

- Ihor Surkis has stated that the incident concerning Mbokani is over. Is that true?

- There’s no problem. Still Dieumerci should realize that football isn’t individual sport. Mbokani is a really high profile performer and if he wants to be the part of our team we’ll be happy to keep working with him.

- You won the domestic league nine times as player, but this is the first triumph for you as coach. Was this achievement the most desirable?

-  It’s much more difficult to win the title as coach than as player.
