- Dynamo president has stated that one should do whatever it takes to let supporters be present at the Ukrainian Cup final. Do you support this idea? How important is that?
- That’s very important. Who needs football behind closed doors?! That’s a bad news for all supporters. Players are upset. Anyway I hope something will change. I’m even ready to join supporters’ protest action.
- In what city would you like to play the cup final?
- In Lviv. I don’t understand why this city wasn’t chosen. I don’t think problems can occur there.
- Was it your initiative to have an open training session?
- Fan-club offered that and I supported this idea as players really need to get some positive emotions from fans before the important match.
- Doesn’t the fact that Dynamo have finished the season without the UPL medals for the first time ever create additional psychological pressure?
- Any match against FC Shakhtar Donetsk gives extra motivation. Players understand what this game means.
- How important is it for you to win the Ukrainian Cup?
- At the moment I don’t thing about the trophy, I think about possible ways to win against Shakhtar.
- If Dynamo win the Ukrainian up the team may qualify for the Europa League group stage. Doe it give additional motivation?
- Match against Shakhtar is uncompromising battle anyway. No additional stimulus is needed.
- Can triumph in the Ukrainian Cup save the season for Dynamo?
- It can’t. Nothing can be an excuse for the fourth place in the UPL. Anyway we must also make amends to ourselves, not only to supporters. The play we demonstrated this season doesn’t correspond Dynamo level.
