- I think the Super Cup match was rather close. Unfortunately we made two mistakes and lost. We have already analyzed the game and made conclusions. I hope we’ll start the season in good mood. Today we are completely focused on the Ukrainian Premier League.
- It seemed that you were nervous in the first half. Were you dissatisfied with Dynamo play?
- I guess players were just afraid of Shakhtar in the first half. We had some young performers, who played their first match against Donetsk side. Maybe this explains the anxiety.
- What did you tell Benoit Tremoulinas after the training sessions?
- I asked him about his conditions. He started getting ready for the season later than the rest of the team.
- They say Mbokani wants to leave because of the situation in Ukraine?
- The majority of foreign players, who feature in Ukraine, want to leave. Still they are professionals, so they do what is stipulated under their contracts.
- Niko Kranjcar works with the team though he’s not on players’ list…
- Unfortunately Niko was injured for a long period of time… As for the players’ list, we formed it for the Ukrainian Super Cup. Now we can edit it as much as we need.
- When will Jeremain Lens join the team?
- He’ll return soon. Veloso is training already.
- The Ukrainian Premier League will have two rounds. Is this scheme better than the one which was proposed at first?
- I think this scheme is fairer for all teams. It’s clearer. I prefer this variant.
- Do you need enforcement? What players are you looking for if you don’t mind my asking?
- I do mind (smiling). Every team needs enforcement if it has ambitious goals.
- Maxym Koval is rather pessimistic about his horizons in Dynamo. He hints at continuation of his career somewhere else…
- If player doesn’t want to struggle for starting spot, but wants to be #1 in some other team, it’s not interesting to me to listen to his sayings. When I was a player we had many performers, who were bench-warmers, but always stayed true professionals.
- Is that true that Serhiy Liulka will go on loan?
- That’s true. He’ll probably feature for FC Hoverla Uzhhorod.
