This is a huge, irreplaceable loss for the entire Ukrainian football. Although Valentyn Belkevych defended the colours of Shakhtar rivals Dynamo Kyiv for many years, Donetsk club deeply respected and highly valued him as a footballer and as an individual. Belkevych was one of the most outstanding players of his time not only within Ukraine, but also for the entire European football.
