Dynamo Maksim Shatskikh and Tiberiu Ghioane have been voted among best in March in traditional newspaper surveys.
Ghioane was a runner-up in the poll amongst head coaches, captains and journalists carried out by the Komanda, receiving eight points, with Tavtiya striker Volodymyr Homenyuk topping the chart. Maksim Shatskikh finished third on four points, on the same level with Denys Holaydo of Tavriya and Arsenal Kyiv’s Yevhen Seleznyov.
In the survey conducted by the Sport Express, Shatskikh was also voted third for the prize of CIS Player of March, earning 32 points. Zenit Arshavin and Tymoshchuk picked 64 and 48 points to secure first and second places, respectively.
