Match officials for the first leg of the Champions League third qualifier FC Spartak (Moscow) – FC Dynamo (Kyiv) are appointed.
The 37-year-old Swedish referee Martin Hansson will take charge of the game. Hansson started refereeing at the age of 15. He managed to obtain his FIFA badge before the age of 30. In 2006 he officiated the EURO U21 final between the Netherlands and Ukraine in Portugal. He was also selected as a referee for the EURO-2008 qualifying game between Ukraine and Scotland (2:0).
Martin Hansson will be supported by compatriots Fredrik Nilsson and Magnus Sjöblom as assistant referees. Michael van Praag from the Netherlands and Pete Mikkelsen from Denmark will act as UEFA delegate and UEFA referee observer, respectively.
