The fifth stop is Ikarus 250.59.
Kyivans got this Hungarian bus in 1985. After 1986 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup triumph only five players returned to the capital of Ukraine. The rest under the charge of legendary Valeriy Lobanovskyi went to Moscow to get ready for the World Cup in Mexico.
This bus took those five performers and European club trophy to Kyiv!
Ikarus-250.59 was red with white stripe and only for our team it was painted white-blue and had DYNAMO KYIV inscription on its side.
This bus had peak speed of 106 km per hour and automatic door. It served our club till 1992.
