- It’s great we’ll play away game in Kyiv as we don’t have to go anywhere. On Wednesday we had the Ukrainian Cup away game, so I’m glad we’ll play at our home arena. Dynamo have one of the best stadiums in Ukraine. Its turf is much better than anywhere else. We have everything we need to demonstrate good football at the NSC Olimpiyskyi.
- Does the team have enough time to recondition after the game against MFC Mykolaiv?
- Players that took the field on Wednesday had reconditioning procedures on Thursday and Friday. Even when we have one game a week we play mini-matches at training sessions on Tuesday or on Wednesday.
- Is it difficult to find motivation considering the gap between Dynamo and Shakhtar that has become even more significant?
- We don’t have such a problem. Even though we can’t reach Shakhtar, we must remember we’re working for the future.
- Have you got used to Ukrainian league?
- Sure. Every league is different, but I’ve played several games and I know what to expect. The only difficulty is about inappropriate turf quality at some stadiums.
- Do you feel comfortable in terms of new formation using three defenders?
- Personally I feel more comfortable when we use this formation. I like to play as centre back. Anyway we’re still getting used to new tactics. It’s not easy as every detail matters, but we have time for adaptation.
