Defender of our team Tamas Kadar has told about the start of European campaign and shared his impressions of work with Olexandr Khatskevych:
- Dynamo started the Europa League group stage with win against KF Skenderbeu Korce. What are your expectations of following games?
- We started pretty well, but it would have been better if we won 3:0. Anyway, it’s great we were victorious. I think Partizan and Young Boys are stronger teams. We’re already acquainted with Swiss side. We’ll have to oppose not only players, but also the turf at their home arena.
I like playing two games a week, but it’s harder for internationals. We play two matches for the club and then perform for national teams. Meanwhile other players have rest and recondition. Anyway, that’s our job and this is the best job in the world. I really love it so it’s okay for me to play even three times a week. Still the older you get, the more important is reconditioning for you.
- When you arrived in Kyiv Serhiy Rebrov was in charge of Dynamo. What do you think of him?
- He invited me to the team. It was easy for me to work with him as he speaks English. He’s a good coach with wide football vision. I was a bit nervous when I found out he leaves as I didn’t know what to expect of the new gaffer.
When I came to the training camp, I took the challenge and did my best. Eventually I got the regular starting spot. I keep proving I meet Dynamo demands.
- What are you impressions of work with Olexandr Khatskevych? Have you found common ground?
- Khatskevych is a kind person. He explains what he wants very clearly. I’ve never seen him angry or too emotional. If he’s not satisfied with something, he just says that directly. Anyway, I like working with Khatskevych.
