Dynamo Kyiv centre-back Taras Mykhavko appeared in the starting lineup of the Ukrainian national team in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against France.
For the 20-year-old “blue-and-white” player this was his debut appearance on the field as part of the Ukrainian national team, and accordingly, his first appearance in the starting lineup.
Recall that Mykhavko is also a player of Ukraine’s U21 national team for which he has already played 8 matches and scored 1 goal. In particular he took part in the final stage of Euro 2025 (U21) this summer. In addition Mykhavko has experience playing for Ukraine’s U19 team (12 matches, 2 goals, 1 assist) and the U23 team (2 matches).
