FC Dynamo Kyiv defender Taras Mykhavko has commented upon the away game against FC Polissia Zhytomyr (0:0).
- It was a tough game. We knew it would be. Polissia have ambitious goals. We didn’t manage to score… That happens, but we mustn’t stop. We have a goal and we’ll be moving towards it till the end.
- There’re two matchdays remaining. Do players feel the pressure?
- Maybe we do. In every game we have a single goal – to win. But, as I’ve said, such matches happen… Today we failed to win, but we’ll keep fighting. Everyone supports each other.
- You started at the bench. They were saying you were injured…
- I had some health issues and was out for eight or nine days. I had like three sessions before the game against Polissia, so I wasn’t totally ready. But I always aim to benefit the team no matter how much time I get.
- Was it hard to be subbed in?
- I wouldn’t say it was hard. I just needed to warm up not to get injured. I wanted to help the team.
- Dynamo next game is also in Zhytomyr – the Cup final against Shakhtar. Have you got accustomed to this field? What do you expect of that game?
- The field is perfect. We’re getting ready. We realize the responsibility the Cup final implies.
