Ukrainian defender Taras Mykhalyk has signed a five-year extension to his contract with FC Dynamo Kyiv committing him to the Ukrainian vice-champion until December 2013. His existing deal was due to expire at the end of 2010.
The 25-year-old joined the capital club in 2006 and has since made 56 league appearances, scoring four goals.
He not only secured a regular place in the first team's lineup but also took part in eleven matches for the Ukraine national team.
