The Ukraine U17 national team suffered a defeat against Latvia in their opening match of the second round of qualification for UEFA EURO 2027.
The Blue-and-Yellows controlled the first half and added a second goal early in the second period. However, they were unable to protect their two-goal advantage and ultimately lost the match, conceding the decisive goal in the sixth minute of stoppage time.
One of the two Dynamo players called up to the national team, Tymofii Parinov, started the match and was substituted in the 33rd minute.
Ukraine’s next match in the second stage of EURO 2027 (U17) qualifying will take place on June 9 against Albania, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 Kyiv time.
