The day after their Ukrainian Premier League match against Obolon Dynamo played a friendly against Livyi Bereh. The kickoff was delayed by about 30 minutes due to an air raid alert. The match featured players who had seen limited action in recent official games.
Dynamo took the lead midway through the first half. Tymchyk delivered a brilliant pass from the right to Buialskii whose strong shot hit the crossbar. The rebound fell to Ogundana who finished from the left side of the box – 1:0.
Chances immediately followed for Karavaiev and Guerrero but the former was offside and the latter’s shot was saved. Less than ten minutes later Livyi Bereh equalized. Morhun lost possession under pressure and the ball reached Shastal who struck into the far corner – 1:1.
Dynamo responded quickly. Two minutes later Voloshyn passed to the far post for Ogundana but the ball didn’t reach him. Guerrero was first to react and scored from close range – 2:1.
Livyi Bereh also created moments but Mekhaniv made key saves, including one from Buialskii.
In the second half Dynamo continued to dominate. Dangerous attempts came from Karavaiev, Guerrero and Ogundana from a cross by Voloshyn but the goalkeeper was alert. Eventually Guerrero scored a spectacular strike from the left side of the box, under the crossbar – 3:1.
Near the end Livyi Bereh took advantage of a defensive mistake to score through Diego, setting the final score – 3:2.
Dynamo’s next official match is scheduled for 19 March 2026 away against FC Oleksandriya in the 21st round of the Ukrainian Premier League.
