On Sunday, February 16, FC Dynamo Kyiv played the last friendly at the training camp – against the running champions of Moldova FC Petrocub Hincesti.
Dynamo didn’t create much early in the game, but gradually Ukrainians started approaching the goal and causing Moldovan side troubles. Anyway Petrocub created the first decent chance of the match. Caruntu missed with a header after wing cross.
One should mention the attempt by Buialskyi, but Petrocub defender didn’t let our player shoot properly and the ball went wide.
The second half started with dangerous opportunity by Petrocub but Ihnatenko saved. Dynamo responded with a promising attack as Karavayev found Guerrero, but that didn’t result in a shot.
Petrocub were close to opening the score twice in one attack. Bilovar cleared the ball after cross, Platica obtained it, but his shot from close range was parried by Ihnatenko while the player attempting with a follow-up was flagged offside.
Kyivans used their chance much better. Shaparenko found Buialskyi and Vitalii hit the upper corner – 1:0.
So, it’s 1:0 – Dynamo win the last game at the training camp in Turkey. On February 23, the White-Blues will host FC Karpaty Lviv in Kyiv.
