Friendly. Dynamo – Shkendija – 1:1. Report

On Friday, February 9, FC Dynamo Kyiv played their sixth friendly at the training camp in Turkey. The White-Blues faced the North Macedonian side KF Shkendija.

The match ended in a draw. Shkendija scored in the first half while the White-Blues hit the target after the break.

Dynamo started the game quite aggressively. Shaparenko took the first shot from a promising position, but the ball went over the bar. In a few minutes Kabayev passed to Voloshyn who hit the crossbar! Shkendija had some decent counterattacks. Ademi attempted twice, but at first missed and then didn’t cope with Bushchan.

In the 14th minute Shkendija netted the ball. Bushchan parried the shot by Totre, but Sinari was the first one with a follow-up. Still he was flagged offside, so the goal was disallowed.

Anyway, in a while Ademi rushed through the center, passed to Shala, who entered the penalty area and scored – 0:1. The game was quite intense and emotional, so referee showed a lot of yellow cards.

Later Brazhko unleashed a dangerous strike with a free kick, but Taleski managed to parry it. Then Dynamo scored, but this goal was cancelled due to offside as well.

Dynamo were doing better early in the second half. Although there were no shots on goal, Kyivans controlled the situation on the field. Eventually they succeeded. Kabayev crossed into the penalty area and Vanat made it 1:1.

Diallo was really active, Dubinchak attempted from distance, Benito shot from the right side, but his shot was blocked. Still Dynamo didn’t manage to grab the winner.

Kyivans will play their next friendly on Monday, February 12, against the Latvian side RFS.
