Dynamo defender Tomasz Kędziora answered journalists’ questions ahead of the first match of the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round against Universitatea Cluj.
– Your first official match after returning to Dynamo will take place in Poland, in Lublin. How symbolic is it for you to play here?
– Of course, I would like to play such matches in Ukraine, but if there is an opportunity to play the game in Poland, that is also wonderful, because my family and friends can come to the stadium and see everything with their own eyes.
– How much of an advantage does the presence of your compatriot Maciej Kędziorek in the coaching staff give you? Did it help with your adaptation?
– It is wonderful to have a compatriot with whom I can talk. But in general, I do not need any adaptation, because I returned in good form and feel good.
– Ihor Kostiuk called you the head coach’s assistant on the pitch. How do you feel in such a role? Were you able to feel it during the training camp?
– It is logical that the older players pass on their experience and help the younger ones. That is what is expected of them. It is nice that the head coach sees me in such a role, and I am happy about it.
