Sunday’s encounter between Dynamo and Vorskla saw two debuts. In the 63rd minute the 18-year-old striker Zozulya put the on blue and white shirt for the first time. Twenty minutes further into the game, Andiry Yarmolenko, of the same age and deployed in the same position, also made his debut. It took the latter as long as seven minutes to find the net to pull off a 2-1 victory for the team.
The youngsters now join Ismaël Bangoura, Pape Diakhaté and Michael on this term’s debutant list.
Oleksandr Shovkovskyy, in the meanwhile, featured in his 300th league game. The keeper thus has racked up more appearances than any other current Dynamo footballer.
