In the opponent’s camp: Fiorentina lost in Serie A ahead of Dynamo clash

Dynamo’s upcoming opponent in the main stage of the Conference League, Italian side Fiorentina, played another Serie A match.

Paolo Vanoli’s team visited Sassuolo. Fiorentina took the lead as early as the 9th minute – their top scorer Rolando Mandragora converted a penalty, bringing his tally to four goals this season. However, before halftime, the home side not only equalized but also took the lead. In the second half tensions flared both on and off the pitch – notably Sassuolo coach Fabio Grosso was sent off in the 59th minute. Even without their manager on the bench hosts extended their advantage and Fiorentina could not respond.

Fiorentina’s lineup was as follows: De Gea – Dodo (Quame, 84), Comuzzo, Mari, Ranieri (Viti, 63), Parisi (Fortini, 62) – Fagioli (Piccoli, 62), Zom (Ndour, 46), Mandragora – Gudmundsson, Kean.

It’s worth noting that Fiorentina remains the only Serie A team without a win this season. Unsurprisingly, after 14 rounds, they sit at the bottom of the table with just six points (6 draws, 8 losses, goal difference - 11:24).

The match Fiorentina vs Dynamo will take place on Thursday, December 11, in Florence at Artemio Franchi Stadium with kickoff at 19:45 Kyiv time.
