UEFA inspectors visit Dynamo stadium

A three-man UEFA delegation, comprising Renato Angelucci, Thomas Clare and Nicolaus Marshall, has paid inspection visit to Dynamo stadium on Tuesday. The experts from Europe met with FC Dynamo Kyiv first vice-president Vitaliy Sivkov and other club representatives to disscuss various organisational issues concerning preparations for the upcoming UEFA Champions League matches.

- I see you have not made many changes on the stadium, comparing with the last year, - told about his impressions UEFA Venue director Nicolaus Marshall. - There is nothing really new. You have a good stadium, worth of the Champion’s League. It would be nice if it were a little bit wormer in winter. We are happy that such an experienced club has a good set-up, good organization. It is also very important that you are able to implement different obligations, rights of the Champion’s League, partners and broadcasters and of course, the teams and spectators.

There will be some small changes in the regulations this year which regard to pitch watering and other small but important things. Actually the biggest change is that spectators will possibly see six referees instead of four like it was in Europa League, but it is not confirmed by UEFA yet.

Let us remind you that Dynamo Kyiv will start their 2010/2011 UEFA Champions League campaign with the third qualifying round.
