Considering such length of the ban in comparison with common cases of the kind it can be assumed that UEFA has agreed with the majority of arguments of the club and player.
As you know, Artem Besedin was temporary forbidden to participate in competitions starting with December 19 2019, so the punishment starts with that day.
The case was considered by the UEFA appeal body on a fast-track basis, without prior consideration by Control, ethics and disciplinary committee, upon the application of Artem Besedin himself.
Later we’ll inform whether this decision will be challenged in the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
