On Tuesday, March 26, Ukraine faced Iceland in the Euro-2024 qualification play-off final.
There was one FC Dynamo Kyiv representative in Ukraine starting lineup – midfielder Volodymyr Brazhko – who made his second appearance for the national team.
Serhiy Rebrov’s men dominated early in the game, but conceded unexpectedly in the 30th minute.
Early in the second half Ukraine equalized. Viktor Tsyhankov obtained the ball in the right side, moved towards the center and hit the bottom corner – 1:1.
The Yellow-Blues continued with the pressure and grabbed the winner 84 minutes into the match. Sudakov passed to Mudryk, who netted the ball – 2:1.
So, Ukraine reach the Euro-2024 finals to face Belgium, Slovakia and Romania at the group stage.
