UPL-2. Dynamo – Kolos – 5:0. Match report

UPL-2. Dynamo – Kolos – 5:0. Match report

On Monday, August 17, Dynamo U21 played their match in the youth championship – Ukrainian Premier League-2. In the 3rd round of the 2026/2027 season, Pavlo Cherednichenko's side hosted Kyiv region side Kolos. We would like to remind you that the senior teams of these opponents played their match the day before – the White and Blues won 2:1.

In the UPL-2 match Vladyslav Supriaha played up front for Dynamo. In addition, goalkeeper Illia Olkhovyi and defenders Maksym Korobov and Denys Dykyi, who had been preparing for the season with the first team, were included in the starting lineup.

The hosts started the game quite actively, with Supriaha and Pashko creating danger near the opponents' goal in the opening minutes. However, in the first case our player failed to get a shot on target, while in the second Kolos goalkeeper Morhun, who previously played for Dynamo, made a reliable save.

The visitors were dangerous on the counterattack, and as a result of one of them, Husol escaped from the defenders, Ohorodnik committed a foul inside his own penalty area, and the referee awarded a penalty. Husol stepped up to take the spot kick himself, but failed to beat Olkhovyi – Illia dived to parry the ball and kept Dynamo's goal intact.

Soon it was Dynamo who could have taken the lead. Pashko passed to Supriaha, who aimed for the far corner, but a Kolos defender managed to reach the ball at the last moment and clear it off the goal line, saving his team.

Eventually, midway through the half, Dynamo produced a scoring attack: Korobov kept the ball in play on the right flank and laid it off to Supriaha, who passed with his heel to Salenko, and Roman's shot from the centre of the penalty area left the goalkeeper with no chance – 1:0.

Our team continued to dominate, regularly creating threats near the opponents' goal, although the pace of the game was not particularly high. However, the Kovalevka side were not simply sitting back in defence either. Denysenko shot low, but Olkhovyi confidently gathered the ball.

The second half was more productive, with only Dynamo players finding the net again.

Salenko had a chance to score a brace, but Morhun saved his team. He also kept out a powerful shot from Pashko, tipping the ball away from the bottom corner. Soon the active Pashko shot wide, but in the very next attack Kyrylo finally got his reward: he carried the ball into the penalty area, entered it and fired a precise low shot – 2:0.

Gubenko extended the lead, reacting to Lobko's cross from the left, running into the open space and directing the ball into the net from approximately the edge of the six-yard box – 3:0.

We should also mention a shot over the bar and a goal by Liusin: Pavlo received the ball after a pass from deep, burst into the penalty area, outplayed the goalkeeper and sent the ball into the net – 4:0.

Lobko put the final touch on the match – Pashko controlled the ball brilliantly and played a pass into the penalty area, which Vitalii finished with one touch, setting the final score at 5:0.

Thus, Pavlo Cherednichenko's team secured their third consecutive victory at the start of the season. Dynamo U21 will play their next UPL-2 match away from home: on September 1, in the framework of the 4th round, our team will face Chernivtsi side Bukovyna.
