UPL-2. Dynamo U21 – Kudrivka U21 – 5:1. Match report

UPL-2. Dynamo U21 – Kudrivka U21 – 5:1. Match report

On Saturday, October 24, Dynamo U21 played a match in the 10th round of the 2026/2027 Ukrainian Premier League-2 youth championship. Pavlo Cherednichenko’s side hosted Kudrivka, from the settlement of the same name in the Koriukivka district of the Chernihiv region.

The match featured teams from opposite ends of the league table. Our team had played nine matches in the UPL-2 championship, collecting 21 points and occupying second place in the standings. Dynamo’s opponents were in 15th place, second from bottom, with four points from nine matches.

The first half was quite entertaining, with both teams playing at a high tempo and creating numerous dangerous situations near each other’s goals. Therefore, it was no surprise that the spectators witnessed three goals.

The visitors scored first early in the match. Following a cross into the penalty area, Demchenko ran in behind the defenders and, from approximately the edge of the six-yard box, sent the ball into the net – 0:1. After that, only Dynamo U21 players scored. Midway through the first half, the White-Blues managed to equalise after Kudrivka defender Yanul interrupted a cross into the penalty area with his hand. The referee awarded a penalty, which Pashko converted confidently – 1:1.

Soon afterwards, Prado had a good opportunity but failed to hit the target. Dynamo then won several consecutive set pieces, and one of them resulted in a goal. Following a corner into the penalty area, Ivaskiv scored with an accurate shot to put his team ahead – 2:1. It should be noted that the hosts took as many as 10 corners in the first half, while their opponents did not take a single one.

Pashko, Prado and Dykyi subsequently had chances to score, but lacked accuracy. Near the end of the half, Ozymay shot wide, further confirming our team’s advantage.

At the beginning of the second half, the Kyiv side extended their lead. Prado cut inside from the left flank towards the centre and delivered a low cross, which Hubenko turned into the net from a few metres out – 3:1. The hosts then had at least two more excellent opportunities to score, but Pashko hit the crossbar, while Zakharchenko was unable to connect with a cross from a corner at the far post.

However, what his teammates could not accomplish, Salenko did. Prado brilliantly beat his opponents on the left flank and played the ball forward, where Salenko, from the centre of the penalty area, gave the goalkeeper no chance – 4:1. Osypenko, who had returned to the pitch after an injury, scored the final goal. Following another White-Blues attack, he collected the ball, carried it into the penalty area and struck into the bottom-right corner from his perspective – 5:1.

Thus, Pavlo Cherednichenko’s team secured a comeback victory by a score of 5:1. It should be noted that Dynamo U21 will play their next UPL-2 match away from home. On Tuesday, November 3, as part of the 11th round, our team will face Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih.
