On Sunday, October 4, Dynamo U21 played a postponed match of the 7th round of the 2026/2027 Ukrainian Premier League-2 season. Pavlo Cherednichenko's side faced Luhansk side Zorya away from home. As a reminder, the match was originally scheduled for September 20, and the teams managed to play only 7 minutes before a more than one-hour air raid alert made it impossible to complete the game. However, even during this short period, Kyiv managed to take the lead – Supryaha scored in the 6th minute, so the teams resumed the match with the White-and-Blues holding a one-goal advantage.
This time, Dynamo's coaching staff involved a number of first-team players, some of whom started the game while others began the match on the bench. During the international break associated with national team matches, the players had a good opportunity to get some playing time.
The hosts had more possession of the ball and soon increased their advantage. Bah exchanged passes with Supryaha and broke into the penalty area, where, after dribbling past several opponents, he sent the ball into the net – 0:2. Ogundana and Bah also had good chances, while Prado managed to make the advantage a commanding one. Sych delivered a cross from the right flank into the penalty area, where Gustavo produced a skillful and accurate shot – 0:3.
Dynamo continued to dominate and regularly threatened the opposition goal. Ogundana, Supryaha and Pashko, in particular, had good opportunities to score. The latter took a dangerous free kick late in the first half, but after a deflection off the wall, the ball ended up in the goalkeeper's hands.
At the beginning of the second half, Dynamo scored another goal: Supryaha passed the ball to Pashko on the right, and he carried the ball down his flank before sending a cross into the six-yard box, where Supryaha was already waiting and, with a first-time finish, redirected the ball into the net – 0:4.
Our team continued to control the game and had more possession, although they did not create too many particularly dangerous chances. Zorya tried to play on the counterattack, but the Luhansk side were unable to get through Kyiv's defense.
Shortly before the final whistle, the Luhansk side were awarded a penalty after Kameniev was illegally stopped inside our penalty area. He took the spot-kick himself, but goalkeeper Surkis reacted well and saved the shot. However, Kameniev reacted quickly and was first to the rebound, setting the final score at 1:4.
Thus, Pavlo Cherednichenko's team secured another victory and earned 18 points in the standings. It should be noted that Dynamo U21 will play their next UPL-2 match at home: on October 12, as part of the 8th round, our team will face Karpaty Lviv.
