FC Dynamo Kyiv hosted FC Livyi Bereh in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 23 game.
The White-Bleus took the situation on the field right away and almost scored early opener. Dubinchak sent Shaparenko one-on-one with the keeper, Mykola attempted with a chip, but missed.
Anyway Dynamo opened the score before the break. Buialskyi found Vanat inside the box, Vladyslav headed the ball to Yarmolenko and Andrii hit the target – 1:0.
Early in the second half Dynamo increased their lead. Vanat passed into space to Kabayev, Vladyslav hit the post, but Shaparenko was there with a follow-up – 2:0.
Livyi Bereh responded with their opportunity. Shastal won the ball in attacking half, approached the penalty area, but missed with his strike. Vanat had a chance to score, but sent the ball wide after accurate pass from Yarmolenko.
Livyi Bereh had another chance to pull one back as teammates found Voitsekhovskyi inside Dynamo box, but Neshcheret was there.
Anyway, it’s 2:0, so Dynamo are still four points ahead of FC Oleksandria. Kyivans will play their next game on April 12 – against FC Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih away.
