UPL. Polissia – Dynamo – 0:0. Report

FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Polissia Zhytomyr away in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 28 game.

Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s men are confidently moving towards the title without a single league match lost this season while Polissia are desperately competing for the fourth place against Kryvbas and Karpaty.

Both sides started quite carefully. Dynamo had only one potential opportunity in the first part of the first half – Yarmolenko tried to send the ball over the keeper with a chip, but missed the target.

Polissia were way more dangerous. Batista rushed into the penalty, but his shot aimed at the near corner wasn’t accurate enough. Then Neshcheret parried the ball after the strike by Hutsuliak and rebound. Babenko attempted decently after corner, but Dynamo keeper was there again.

Early in the second half Polissia created another dangerous opportunity. Bristric attempted from inside the box, the ball hit Popov and Neshcheret reached it in the corner after which Nazarenko missed with a follow-up.

Visitors get more active later in the game. After shot by Voloshyn and rebound the ball went over the bar. Bilovar didn’t manage to score after low cross from Dubinchak. The power strike from Mykhailenko went wide.

So, it’s a goalless draw. The White-Blues will play their next game on May 14 – the Ukrainian Cup final against Shakhtar.
