UPL. Rukh – Dynamo – 0:2. Report

FC Dynamo Kyiv faced FC Rukh Lviv away in the Ukrainian Premier League matchday 22 game.

Yarmolenko and Dubinchak attempted from distance early in the game, but the ball went wide. Anyway visitors succeeded soon. In the 11th minute Shaparenko found Buialskyi inside the box, the skipper performed a brilliant pass to Vanat and Vladyslav scored one-on-one – 0:1.

In the 30th minute the White-Blues increased their lead. Yarmolenko crossed from the left side and Buialskyi reached the ball in the far post – 0:2. That was his 350th appearance for Dynamo!

Right before the break Vanat had a great opportunity to get a brace to his name, but he missed from a promising position after cross from Buialskyi.

As the second half kicked off home side got more active as they had nothing to lose. Karabin attempted with a header from inside the box, but Neshcheret was there. Then Ruslan parried a volley by Pidhurskyi after corner.

Generally Dynamo defended quite orderly and didn’t let Rukh create much. On the other hand, Oleksandr Shovkovskyi’s men didn’t rush forward either.

Later in the game home side tried at least to pull one back. Riabov unleashed a strike from distance, but Neshcheret parried. Then he reached the ball in the corner after shot by Tlumak and thus preserved his 10th UPL clean sheet.

So, Dynamo win 2:0 and stay four points in front of Oleksandria. Kyivans will play their next game on April 2 in Lviv against… Rukh, but this time – in the Ukrainian Cup quarterfinal.
