UPL. Matchday 13. Arsenal – Dynamo. Preview

The game will start at 17:00 at Dynamo Stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskyi.

Dynamo: together to battle!

In their last UPL game the White-Blues defeated FC Metalurh Donetsk 9:1. After that there was a two-week pause caused by international matches.

The team was reunited on October 16. Thus Oleh Blokhin’s men had only three days for preparation for Kyiv derby.

Dynamo have a very tight schedule. They are to play seven matches within three weeks.

As for injured performers, Yevhen Selin and Denys Harmash keep recovering.

One of the White-Blues leaders Andriy Yarmolenko is sure that the forthcoming match won’t be easy.

Arsenal: on the verge of bankruptcy

FC Arsenal Kyiv are having hard times. Their head coach Yuriy Bakalov has handed in resignation.

The Gunners executive director Vadym Holovko has stated that all problems must be solved in the nearest time. Otherwise he will declare bankruptcy of the team.

As for difficulties with squad, Arsenal lacked a goalkeeper. Luckily for the Red-Blues Stanislav Bohush has joined them.

Ex-Dynamo forward Maxym Shatskikh is sure that the Gunners won’t suffer hammering at least.

The White-Blues performers Andriy Bohdanov and Artem Kravets, who currently perform for Arsenal on loan, play very important roles in the team.

Face to face

Dynamo have already faced Arsenal and their predecessor CSCA 36 times within the UPL (W-31, D-5, L-0, goal difference – 82:19).

The last match between these two sides took place on November 11 2012. The White-Blues won the game 4:0.
