The game will start at 19:30 at Metalurh Stadium.
Dynamo Kyiv: to Donetsk without leaders
Away match against Metalurh will be the last for Dynamo against the UPL top seven teams. Unfortunately the White-Blues haven’t managed to cover this distance without losses. Thus Kyivans have actually lost chances for the Champions League spot. Besides the head coach of the team Oleh Blokhin surrendered the office after home defeat against FC Shakhtar Donetsk.
Under the charge of caretaker manager Serhiy Rebrov Dynamo defeated FC Vorskla Poltava (2:1) and played in a draw against FC Chornomorets Odesa (1:1).
Featuring against Roman Hryhorchuk’s men the White-Blues lost several key performers as defender Yevhen Makarenko, winger Andriy Yarmolenko and forward Dieumerci Mbokani got their fourth booking of the season each and thus they’ll miss the forthcoming match.
Anyway Serhiy Rebrov has stated that he’s analyzed Metalurh play thoroughly.
After the match in Donetsk Kyivans will have a possibility to have rest as they’ll skip the next matchday because FC Arsenal Kyiv don’t perform in the UPL any more.
Metalurh Donetsk: aim – Europa League
Before the start of the second part of the UPL Metalurh aim was to feature in the Europa League next season. Still at the moment Serhiy Tashuev’s men lack six points behind FC Chornomorets Odesa, who are fifth in standings.
In their previous match Metalurh suffered narrow defeat against FC Shakhtar Donetsk – 1:2.
Anyway they have special attitude of mind before the game against Dynamo as it’s hardly possible to forget the hammering they suffered against the White-Blues in their previous face-to-face match in Kyiv – 9:1.
It also should be mentioned that Metalurh don’t have suspended players.
