The draw for the Ukrainian Cup Round of 16 has taken place.
By the draw, an “Ukrainian clásico” will take place at this stage already – Dynamo against Shakhtar. The match will be played at the Pitmen’s home ground on October 28.
As a reminder, last season Dynamo and Shakhtar also met in the Ukrainian Cup Round of 16 – on October 29, 2025, in Kyiv. After conceding first, the Dynamo players, thanks to goals from Andriy Yarmolenko and Eduardo Guerrero, secured a comeback victory and advanced to the next stage, ultimately winning the trophy.
In the current tournament, the Kyiv side began their campaign in the Round of 32, defeating Vinnytsia’s Nyva away (1:0).
