Vadym Yevtushenko: “We want to restart the training process as soon as possible”

- The quarantine has been on for more than a month. How do you spend it?

- As all law-abiding people we try to stick to all restrictions. At first we almost didn’t leave the apartment and did groceries once in 5-6 days. Mostly we stay at home and do household stuff. My neighbor came back from Poland, so we were on observation.

- Players and coaches often say that they spend little time with their families. Is quarantine a chance to catch up?

- Wives of our generation have got used to our absence. Fortunately my wife and I have been together for many years, so we’re okay with that.

- Today many companies use video chats to establish communication between employees. Do you do that in Dynamo?

- Players have got the training program, so there’s no need for that. We, coaches, go to the training complex in turns to see players. Our doctor doesn’t let more than 4 people be there at the same time.

- Do you have less work now?

- Sure, but we still have it. It’s an opportunity to analyze our matches in more detail. Work on theory continues.

- Does this situation have any benefits?

- I don’t see any. All human connections and professional activities have been disrupted. Everyone needs some rest, but a couple of weeks are enough.

- Is there anything you want to do after quarantine first of all?

- We want to restart the training process as soon as possible. Our work is our life. It’s our hobby and our profession. Anyway, first of all, we all need to stay healthy.
