- How did your transfer to FC Dynamo Kyiv start?
- Actually I was going to sign new contract with FC Dnipro, but after I suffered serious injury the process stopped. Then I had surgery. After that I met Dynamo president and we agreed I would recover by summer. I have and now I keep reconditioning.
- You’ve already had two serious injuries… How can you explain that?
- I try to stay positive. Maybe I’ll get some compensation in future. It’s difficult from psychological and physical point of view to work at the gym for half a year and just watch your teammates play. I always want to be on the field and help my team.
- This training camp is a chance to prove Dynamo need you.
- I’m trying to understand how the coach wants me to play and take the field as soon as possible.
- Do theory classes help you on the field?
- Sure. We analyze our mistakes not to make them again. Coach tells us how to act in this or that episode.
- There’re many youngsters at the training camp. Do they make competition fiercer?
- They always do. Youngsters must make headway working alongside Dynamo experienced performers. As for me, they’re all very promising. As soon as they gain experience and confidence their way to the main squad will become shorter.
- Is the Europa League final the most significant achievement in your career?
- It is so far, but I dream of more. Maybe God will help Dynamo reach the Champions League final. That’s possible. We must just work and believe in that.
- They say Dnipro key to success was teamwork. Do Dynamo have a team able to reach ambitious goals?
- Atmosphere in the team is very friendly. I think Dynamo are capable of achieving significant success.
