Metalist – Dynamo – 0:1. Post-match press-conference

- As we expected, it was a very interesting match, a real Cup match. We know that Metalist’s main priorities this year are the Ukrainian championship and the Cup. I am really satisfied with the result and also with the performance. Those players, who played today, did everything they could. Unfortunately, they lack match practice. Nonetheless, everyone gave 100% per cent today.
- In other words, you knowingly took the risk and made so many changes in the line-up….
- Definitely, it was our main task. Those players, who played for their national teams, got the chance to take a rest. Moreover, we have very important match in three days – first match of the Champions League. That is why I did it intentionally.
- Is Shovkovskyy Dynamo’s first-choice goalkeeper?
- Both Shovkovskyy and Bogush are invited to the national team. They both are top-class goalkeepers. Sasha played very well today.
- Did you have any problems with players’ physical state after the national team’s match?
- Twelve Dynamo players were called up to the national teams. We take into consideration and take all necessary measures to restore players’ mental and physical condition during our training sessions. So, there were no any problems.
