Dynamo – Barcelona. Pre-match press conference
Ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League crucial match against reigning European champions FC Barcelona (Spain), Dynamo Kyiv coach Valeriy GAZZAEV attended a press conference and spoke to media representatives.
- After Dynamo's match against FC Chornomorets Odesa we gave our players a day off and then got back to training. Thanks God, there are no injured players in the team and they all get ready fot the game against Barcelona.
- Everybody knows that there are no invincible teams… Can Dynamo cause a sensation tomorrow? Can your players force Barcelona to make mistakes in tomorrow's match?
- Sensation is not a priority for us. Our priority is to get a positive result. All four teams still have equal chances to progress to the knock-out stage and will do their utmost to snatch victory in their concluding group stage fixtures. We are not an exception as it’s the only chance for us to continue our Champions League campaign. It goes without saying that it will be the most important match of the season. All our players realize the responsibility and have huge motivation. But we also should not underestimate our rivals’ power. We all perfectly realize how strong our opponents are.
- In Yevhen Khacheridi’s absence you’ve tried different combinations of defenders. Have you decided who will play in defence tomorrow?
- Yes, I’ve made up my mind.
- Miloš Ninković was in hospital yesterday. Does he have serious problems?
- He had a slight injury after Dynamo’s match against Chornomorets Odesa. Fortunately, it did not turn out to be serious. Hope he’ll be fit and ready for tomorrow’s encounter.
