Vardar are domestic league leaders after 18 matchdays (W-10, D-6, L-1). They’re 8 points ahead of their closest opponents. Vardar have the second best attack in the league (28 goals) and the best defense (11 goals conceded).

They’ve been outplayed in the national cup round of 16 by KF Shkendija (2:2, 0:1).

40-year-old Aleksandar Vasoski used to be a famous player. In Macedonia he featured for FK Vardar and FK Cementarnica 55. Then he performed for Eintracht Frankfurt (3 goals in 98 matches). He has 33 appearances and 2 goals for Macedonia national team to his name.
