They went in for football in Lviv together, featured for FC Dynamo Kyiv and Ukraine national team alongside each other. Later they took charge of Dynamo-2. Today Vasyl shares his reminiscences of Andriy.
- Me and my wife try to spend much time with Khrystyna and kids, support them. We should rub through this tragedy together.
- How did you get acquainted with Andriy?
- It happened when we featured for FC Karpaty Kamianka-Buzka. At that time we were 17 years old. In every team young players communicate with each other a lot. Still I can’t say that we became as close as lips and teeth at once.
- What was Andriy like in everyday life?
- First of all he was a good friend. It’s hard to talk about him using past tense. He adored his family and was authority for children. He liked to have guests at his place. He cooked meat perfectly. Andriy was in step with the times in all aspects.
