- What can You say about current generation of Dynamo players?
- I think the team is on the right track. It’s great Ukrainian players have a chance to approve themselves. In my opinion Dynamo must rely on our performers though there should be some high profile foreigners.
- This season Dynamo gained confidence in the Champions League and realized they can oppose top level teams. When did Your team gain that confidence which helped Dynamo win 1986 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup?
- The key to success was our team spirit. When Valeriy Lobanovskyi took charge of Dynamo in 1984 we finished fourth. A lot of players left and new team was formed. Still we had great motivation.
Atmosphere in the team made us fight for each other on the field. We didn’t care who our opponents were. Valeriy Lobanovskyi used to say there would have been no him but for us. On the other hand there would have been no us but for him.
